Peter Stewart

Castle Mountain Snow Sports School Director/ LSA Head Coach

Peter has been working in the snow sports industry as an active full-time instructor, coach and coach developer LF for over 25 years.  Over the course of his career prior to entering his 10th season at Castle.  He has managed Large Snow Schools, Ski Race programs, and Snowboard Race, SBX and freestyle Programs.  Including coaching snowboard high performance programs. He has coached internationally working with provincial and national level athletes.  Along with a Post Secondary Education in Business and Kinesiology.  
Peter works with several provincial and national level athletes in the shoulder season developing technical skills.  Including Camps in Mt Hood, Chillie,  and Tignes, France.    Peter looks forward to bringing this knowledge back to LSA this season as he works towards completing his level 3 performance level ski race coach pathway and works with the coaches in developing their coaching skills as a certified coach mentor and coach evaluator for Alpine Canada.

Level 2 Development Level Certified, Level 3 (Performance Level Pathway Started (trained)), Coach Developer/Mentor Evaluator LF Pathway (Almost Complete), NCCP Level 2, NCCP Mentorship Module     

IFSA Big Mountain Judge

Canadian Association of Snowboard instructors: 

Level 4 Certified, Freestyle Instructor Evaluator, Race Instructor Evaluator, Level 3 CASI Evaluator
